Replying to the "Added context" remark, how could I provide evidence without compromising privacy? If there is a way, please do let me know.

I am not easily spending words like "scam". But I don't know how else to define this. I used their service to get a Telegram SMS verification number. You are specifically asked for which service you need the number. I selected Telegram. The first time the number had already been used. I paid for nothing. The second time the number was working. I set up the account, activated 2FA. I thought all was good. After that, I started receiving message after message of Telegram sending me codes to access the account. 2FA was protecting me in that case. But then, after a week or so... the REAL scam came to be. Got a message from Telegram stating that somebody had requested to delete my account and that the only way to stop this from happening was inputting a code that was going to be sent by SMS only. This procedure is described here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Telegram/comments/1dd4ijp/telegram_sent_me_a_request_to_reset_account/ and here: https://core.telegram.org/api/account-deletion Since I obviously don't have access to the number anymore, my account is going to be deleted in two days time. Would anybody do this out of spite, when they see that a number has already been used to create a Telegram account? I don't know, I cannot exclude it. But how would they then get access, since these numbers are one use only? It seems to me far more likely that it's Crypton.sh themselves that periodically send these requests for deletion, in order to re-use the same numbers over and over and over again. Avoid at all costs. I wonder if there are any really honest services in this space. If you sell a SMS authorization for Telegram, that number should be banned from further sales regarding Telegram, it's not hard.
