Misleading VPS specs and no refund after 20 minutes I bought a VPS from SwissRdp because their plan clearly stated 10 Gbps uplink and unlimited bandwidth. After purchase, the VPS did not match these specs. Speedtest showed only about 280 Mbps, and their own dashboard showed a 3 TB traffic limit, even though the plan says “unlimited bandwidth”. The IP geolocation was also unsuitable for my needs: the server was supposed to be in the Netherlands, but MaxMind showed the IP as United Arab Emirates. The IP was also blocked in Russia. I requested a refund about 20 minutes after purchase, before actually using the server. Support refused and replied that “no one can give raw 10 Gbps port to a $20 VPS” and that I should buy a dedicated server if I need high speed. That is exactly the problem: if they know they cannot provide anything close to 10 Gbps, they should not list 10 Gbps uplink in the VPS plan.
