MoneroDex copies much of the Trocador.app UI and markets itself as a P2P/DEX platform. However, it is an aggregator for centralized exchange providers, not as a true P2P or decentralized exchange.
- In their X posts , they advertise themselves as a P2P platform, but the service does not appear to operate as one.
- The website closely copies the Trocador.app interface and structure.
- We contacted Trocador.app, and they confirmed they are aware of the site. According to them, MoneroDex uses their API and has operated as an affiliate, but Trocador does not endorse their marketing or methods.
- Because of the misleading presentation and copycat behavior, this service is marked as a Potential Risk.
