Do not use Houdiniswap if you care about your assets. One of their third-party exchange partners is Changelly, which all of us know is a bad exchange to deal with regarding their questionable AML/KYC procedures. I did not know that Changelly was specifically responsible for my order when exchanging and they’ve now successfully withheld around 0.25 BTC. After contacting Houdiniswap via Telegram, they told me they cannot do anything and that I should contact Changelly personally. This is very questionable from Houdini’s side aswell, as they do not state the specific third-party exchange used in any of the swaps. Also, after contacting Changelly and asking for the specific reasoning why my funds got held, they simply dodge the question. (Funds are not marked as stolen, fresh addresses, not affiliated with any gambling nor high risk dexes, just Houdiniswap. Kind of sad, as I’ve sent 3x-4x that amount before, multiple times, without any issues.
Please note: The co-founder of Changelly is also involved with Atomic Wallet. Additionally, Atomic Wallet’s co-founder is a co-founder of Evercode Lab, the developer behind ChangeNOW. There have been numerous accusations and scam allegations against ChangeNOW, with claims that these services often protect each other from criticism and scrutiny.
For more details, see the discussions on Bitcointalk about their connections and how they allegedly shield each other from accountability. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5034589.0 https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5026942.0
Sorry for your loss. Out of curiosity, how do you use HoudiniSwap? and what makes you trust it, no reputation on Bitcointalk or anywhere? It was clear that they were suspicious.
Houdini is a swap service whose main goal apparently was to dump their own useless token on the market. A lot of bagholders now.
Added context: Comment alleges token dumping and market manipulation but lacks specific details, evidence, or context to substantiate claims.
Shut down your service. You claim to improve privacy and security, yet use unreliable third parties that compromise your promises.
