High risk: Online reviews and findings show it often works for small test swaps, but triggers sudden KYC requests on larger amounts, leading to locked funds and unresponsive support.
There is not sufficient strong evidence to declare Ghostswap is a scam. For this reason, we placed this warning and removed the SCAM status.
Really smooth experience. The swap was quick, the progress updates were clear, and everything worked exactly as expected. I'll definitely use GhostSwap again.
I encountered a problem when using GhostSwap.
On May 24, 2026, I sent 12.441 ETH to the GhostSwap address for an exchange. The funds were received by the service, but the exchange was not completed. On the blockchain tracker, my funds were forwarded to an address associated with HitBTC and have been frozen since then.
Since June 22, I have been trying to contact GhostSwap support through all available channels: email, website chat, Telegram. No response.
The GhostSwap website states that responses come within 12-24 hours, but more than two days have passed since my first inquiry.
Please check this service. Other users may have had similar issues.
We are already in contact with the customer and actively reviewing the case. We are working with them directly to resolve the issue as soon as possible.
Update as of July 2, 2026:
The situation remains unresolved. GhostSwap is delaying the process. Here are the main inconsistencies I have documented:
"No-KYC" on the website, but KYC is required. On the GhostSwap homepage, it states "NO-KYC Crypto Exchange" and "NO ACCOUNT · NO EMAIL · NO SIGNUP". However, my funds were frozen precisely on the pretext of needing KYC/AML verification. This directly contradicts their public promises.
My funds went to HitBTC, but they deny it. The blockchain tracker shows that my 12.441 ETH were sent to an address associated with HitBTC. However, in correspondence, GhostSwap stated: "No, HitBTC does not hold your funds." If HitBTC does not hold the funds, then they are fully in control and obligated to return them.
I have fulfilled all their requirements. I provided:
A purchase and sale agreement confirming the legitimate origin of 12.441 ETH.
Completed full KYC verification through their SumSub system on June 25, 2026.
They are stalling. After I met all their requirements, they stopped providing concrete answers. When I ask about timelines, they reply: "No updates at the moment" and "We are still waiting for updates from our team."
Conclusion: GhostSwap is blocking funds under fabricated pretexts, contradicting their public statements, and delaying the process. The funds have not been returned, and the exchange has not been completed.
I will update this as the situation develops.
Update — July 3, 2026:
I have completed all requirements they requested:
Provided a document confirming the source of 12.441 ETH.
Completed full KYC verification through SumSub on June 25.
Since then, I have asked twice about the maximum review timeframe. Both times I received the same reply: "no updates at the moment" — no timeline given.
They refuse to explain on what basis they continue to hold my funds after all requirements have been met.
Also, the blockchain tracker clearly shows my funds were transferred to an address associated with HitBTC. Yet GhostSwap stated: "No, HitBTC does not hold your funds." If HitBTC does not hold them, GhostSwap has full control and responsibility — but they still refuse to return them.
The service advertises as "No-KYC" but blocked my funds and demanded full verification. Now that I have complied, they simply stall without any deadline.
I will continue updating until my funds are returned.
Update as of June 24, 2026:
GhostSwap responded to my inquiries. They requested confirmation of the legitimacy of the funds (KYC/AML verification). I have provided them with all the requested documents confirming the source of the funds. Awaiting their decision.
The issue remains open — the funds are still blocked, and the exchange has not been completed. I will update the information as the situation develops.
Update as of July 21, 2026:
The situation remains unchanged. GhostSwap is still holding my 12.441 ETH.
I tracked my funds myself on the blockchain — they were forwarded to an address associated with HitBTC — an exchange with a poor reputation and numerous complaints. However, GhostSwap denies that HitBTC is holding my funds and refuses to explain where they actually are.
I completed full KYC verification and provided all documents proving the origin of the funds. GhostSwap refused to return the funds, citing "insufficient documentation" and "confidentiality," but refused to provide a case number or the name of the authority conducting any investigation.
The GhostSwap website prominently advertises "NO KYC," but in reality they demand KYC and block funds. This is misleading.
My complaint on BitcoinTalk received broad support from reputable forum members. They confirmed that GhostSwap's marketing does not match reality.
GhostSwap has deposits with services like OrangeFren, but these services refuse to help, citing formalities. The deposit exists, but it does not protect ordinary users.
If you want to exchange cryptocurrency through an exchange — do it directly, without intermediaries like GhostSwap, who can simply take your funds and leave you without answers.
The funds have not been returned. The exchange has not been completed. No timeline has been given.

I confirm on behalf of @Ghostswap.io (OP) that I hold 6.35 XMR + 8 XMR (at today's rate, since XMR a bit down it was approximately $5,000). This is Trêvoid from bitcointalk.org. I do not have an escrow fee.

I've tried a few exchanges recently, and the no-KYC approach here makes the whole process much faster.https://ghostswap.io/txs/?id=q70phsk9q5a0tlmx
No KYC is a big plus, especially for users who just want quick access without hassle
Tried it for a small transaction first and it went smoothly. Will probably use it again.
I've used a few swap services before, and this one has been one of the smoother experiences.
Needed a quick swap and it went through without any problems. Pretty happy with it.
Easy to use and transactions were completed quickly. Overall a good experience so far, just hope support stays responsive.
Smooth and fast exchange process. No KYC was needed for my transaction, and everything worked without issues.
Super easy to use. Made a swap real quick, no account needed, no hassle. Clean site and smooth experience.
I find it ideal for lightning transactions. Simple, fast, run over Tor.
I have used ghostswap several dozen times without an issue. It requires no downloads other than Tor. NO KYC EVER. It is good for BTC transactions that are smaller like USD/Euro 1000. Many currencies are available though most market makers are USD or EUR. I love this site. Great for stacking seats discreetly.
It is anonymous service (Tor, no KYC, no account, Lightning works well). Good for newbies.
so far, more than 8.000 euros converted into monero without any KYC. 100% recommended
it’s the best product pure atomic swap. Zero intermediaries zero arbitration zero permission. Need more liquidity and more awareness for this amazing product !
