    UPDATE 07/20/25: Server was offline due to a fault on BuyVM's end. As of the 17th of July, ghostbox.cc seems to be completely down, no ping, no website, bounces when writing to postmaster@ghostbox.cc.

As of the 17th of July, ghostbox.cc seems to be completely down, no ping, no website, bounces when writing to postmaster@ghostbox.cc. Stay away from this provider, even if they come back up. Their failure to notify users of issues via outside control channel is unacceptable. Regretful that I actually sent them Monero. Thankfully, it wasn’t that much. Suggest making this provider as “Scam”

Hi, ghostBox postmaster here. It’s not a scam. I’ve been using a ghostBox address as my primary email address, so I’m in the same boat as every other user, and have the same desire for the server to come back online as soon as possible. However, I appreciate your caution and wouldn’t trust just anyone on the internet either. When ghostBox went offline previously, I promptly contacted BuyVM because I couldn’t restart the server, and they were able to resolve the issue in a timely manner. Unfortunately, the current outage is due to a relocation that I wasn’t notified about in advance. Please read more about this on the website. Rest assured that user data is safe, as the disk is encrypted. I also have backups in place in case anything goes wrong.
